Encircled was born through a dream of following your passion and developing a true love affair with one’s work and a desire to do so in service of others.
Encircled started with an idea, but the desire to be an entrepreneur for Kristi started a long before.
After completing her undergrad degree, Kristi was filled with business ideas. However, she chose not to pursue any due to an ingrained belief that she didn’t have what it took to succeed.
Instead, Kristi adopted a traditional career path in Marketing and Retail. Several years later, Kristi completed her MBA, which re-ignited her passion for entrepreneurship. Yet, once again she chose stability; a career with a top CPG company, then management consulting.
Throughout the years, though enjoying her work she never truly felt a passion for her career. At a yoga retreat in March 2012, she realized that her life was not on the right path. Despite much success, happiness never followed and what she was cultivating in her life wasn’t stirring her soul.
And so, Encircled was born.
