Night time potty training 👇🏻Potty training is almost always a challenging process. Keep calm and avoid reacting or shaming them if they have an accident. It is possible that they will not be ready or able to stay dry overnight.
Look out for 👇🏻1. Signs of readiness, most children are a little bit older when they are ready to make the switch to underwear overnight. Usually around ages 4-7.2. Make sure you’re prepared. Reduce liquid intake before bed and encourage them to use the potty before bed.3. Stay calm during accidents! You don’t want to create excess anxiety during this time or make them feel shameful for having an accident. Always keep encouraging them till they get it.Have any questions about potty training? They can cause entrapment, suffocation, strangulation and sadly they are simply not safe.Baby sleep positioner’s - Back is always best! You never want to put a newborn in a sleep positioner as it can cause asphyxiation.Bassinets for your bed- Co-sleeping is never safe, no matter if you use the safe 7 or have done it with previous children. The AAP strongly recommends against it.Weighted swaddles - A new trend going on in the past years, however did you know Amazon and Target dropped these companies due to how unsafe they are?Stomach positioner’s - Anything that promotes baby on their stomach you want to stay away from, especially if you have a young baby.
