Hi, I’m Seda Barabiko. I was born, raised and still live in Istanbul, Turkey with my husband and 5 year old son. I am a graduate of Istanbul Kultur University as a Psychological Counselor and I am currently completing my master’s degree in clinical psychology.
My journey with learning everything about sleep began in February 2020 when my son was born. At that time, all I knew about a newborn sleep patterns were that they spent most of their time sleeping during the day. In the beginning I struggled for hours to have him fall asleep and when he did it wasn’t for very long. He would then spend the whole day fussy, cranky and crying. As a first time mum I was mentally exhausted, emotionally exhausted and constantly anxious. I knew I had to do something, so I started to Google ‘how do I get my baby to sleep’ and all that showed up was sleep training which I knew nothing about. I contacted the one that I thought could help the best and at 5 months old my son was sleep trained and sleeping independently with little difficulty. My life changed at that moment.
Since 2021 I have been helping families in the Middle East and Europe with their kids sleep issues and I love how rewarding it was to hear the joy and relief in their voices when their baby slept through the night. I am so deeply passionate about children’s sleep and how important it is for the entire family to get quality rest, that I have dedicated myself to helping as many families as I can. I look forward to working with all of my clients and is so blessed to be able to help families learn how to achieve a silent night.
